Tickets to tours of the HGTV Dream Home are available at the Visitor Center, located at 2926 Memorial Hwy. (Hwy. 64/74A), Lake Lure, NC 28746.

Tours are $20 per person (a great part of the ticket price is contributed to local organizations who have volunteered so much time to this community-wide effort, including Hospice of Rutherford County, Lake Lure Lions Clubs, and the Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County). Children ages 4 and under are free.

The Visitor Center opens at 9:30 am Monday through Friday, with tours of the Dream Home beginning at 10:00 am. On Saturday and Sunday, we open at 8:30 am, with tours beginning at 9:00 am. The last tour of the day departs at approximately 3:00 pm. Tours are conducted daily through April 7. There is plenty of parking available.

Located next to the Visitor Center is the Dream Home tent, a beautiful white structure where you'll sign in for the next available tour once you've purchased your ticket. If the wait is long enough, your party can take a beeper so you're alerted when it's almost time for your tour. You'll learn an approximate time of your departure on large passenger vans for the trip around the lake to the Dream Home. Of course, once done with the guided tour of the home, photo taking, and enjoying the spectacular view, you'll take the van back into "downtown" Lake Lure.

The approximate total time for the tour is 1 1/2 hours, including the ride to and from the Dream Home. We recommend taking the tour as early in the day as you're able, especially on weekends. On Saturday and Sunday, we often sell the last ticket of the day by 12:30 or 1:00 pm.

We're sorry, but there are no telephone or internet sales of tickets. You may purchase tickets in advance but you cannot make advance reservations. Tickets at the Visitor Center and sign-in at the tent are on a first-come, first-served basis.
